  • Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner

Will Wells is a former chiropractic doctor (now retired) and current Feldenkrais practitioner based out of Sonoma county California. As a practitioner, he utilizes his nonlinear background as a guide to his approach. He trained with Moshe Feldenkrais for two years during his practitioner training, which spanned several trainings including Coto de Casa, Amherst, and the San Rafael/Dominican, where he completed his practitioner training in 1987. Prior to Feldenkrais work, Will developed a rigorous background in chiropractic, did postdoctoral work in physical therapy, and worked as a respiratory therapist. The knowledge gained during this period adds to the depth of Will's anatomical and physiological knowledge, which he continues to utilize as a Feldenkrais practitioner. One of Will’s greatest teachings came from a traumatic hand injury and learning directly about the process of recovery. His continued recovery over the past 42 years is largely due to persistent application of Moshe’s ideas and teachings. Will continues to use the lessons and applications learned during this process to inspire and benefit others as they recover from traumatic injuries. Currently, Will is cofounder of the Sonoma Feldenkrais collective along with Zoe Talbot, MS in neuroscience and Feldenkrais practioner.
